Barbas have been producing modern and innovative gas and wood-burning fireplaces since 1976 under the Barbas brand for wood and Bellfires for gas appliances. In 2025, they merged the two divisions under the Barbas aegis.
Their passion for craftsmanship and a love for fireplaces and stoves has remained constant. From their state-of-the-art factory in the Netherlands, they endeavour to optimise the fireplace experience while maintaining first-class customer service for their extensive roster of users across Europe and beyond.
Their product line now comprises sleek inset stoves and gas fires and the outstanding free-standing Box range, which has evolved as a pure minimalist extrapolation of their inset range. Everything necessary. Nothing extraneous.
Stoves
Barbas make every one of their modern, stylish and high-efficiency stoves and fires to order. The woodburners are cut and folded from unusually thick 8mm steel, by their own admission, far in excess of any requirement for durability and performance, which makes them singularly robust.
They feature a single air control and a square-cut mechanical latch – both can be operated with a proprietary tool or with a bare hand.
All the stoves are built to the very highest efficiency standards while maximising versatility of deployment, ease of installation and facility of use, as well as a stark and uncompromising aesthetic and build quality.
Their state-of-the-art gas fires are exquisitely refined for elegance, flame pattern and instant heat, controllable at the touch of a button.
